Ok, ok, we know we’re late with this one but, as they say, it’s better late than never!!!
Now we got that out the way let’s talk about, Leicester’s, Stanza Divan who, in late November, finally dropped his loooooong awaited project, ‘Poetry in Motion’, which is an absolutely phenomenal tape that was well worth the wait!!!
A dope mix of braggadocio and conscious bars over some pure hip-hop instrumentals (hearing him murder Mobb Deep and Dr. Dre beats is amazing)! A masterclass in how to spit and drop clever, witty and intelligent rhymes!
In our opinion this was one of 2018’s best releases and exactly what the UK scene needed going into 2019 (Charlie, Tiffany, Westwood ARE YOU LISTENING?)!
We said it here…A CERTIFIED UK HIP-HOP CLASSIC… AND THAT AIN’T NO BULLSHIT!

Leicester’s Anti Knife Crime project have teamed up with Stanza Divan and Rezz Ra for the track, and video, for ‘This Is Me’ which recently just dropped on Global Faction’s YouTube channel!
With knife and gun crime on the rise in the UK and in the wake of the Tim Westwood controversy where it was found members of the 1011 gang were caught on camera talking about murdering a rival gang member on Westwood’s Crib Sessions on his YouTube channel so tracks like this are vital and need our support to raise awareness, and hopefully, start making a change!

Stanza Divan is an artist that everyone needs to be keeping an eye on in 2018. On his new track, ‘Slept On’, he spits nothing but flames over Mobb Deep’s classic ‘Burn (The Learning)’ instrumental!!!
He spits “Stanza Divan, you know the brother’s slept on” in the opening line but hopefully that won’t be the case by the end of the year!!!
His debut mix-tape, ‘Poetry in Motion’, is due out soon so be on the look out for it!!!
