Also it was nice to finally see the NWA World title presented as an important championship again. It has spent far too long in the wilderness and seeing Cody Rhodes win it nearly 30 years after his dad Dusty did was a real special moment!
This moment could also prove to be essential in Billy Corgan’s vision of the NWA going forward!
On Sunday February 21st we present out biggest show ever as we host Bad Apple at the Cadbury Club in Birmingham featuring a wide variety of international talent!
1st International Star – Carlito
He is a former WWE Intercontinental, WWE United States Champion and he held both the WWE & The World Tag Team Championships in the WWE. He is also a former 15x WWC Universal Heavyweight Champion which is the top title in Puerto Rico.
In his début match in the WWE, he defeated John Cena for the WWE United States Title. He then went on to defend his title against Rob Van Dam, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio & former Kamikaze Pro Champion – Hardcore Holly. At WrestleMania 25, Carlito and his brother Primo became the 1st and only tag team in history to unify the WWE World Tag Team Title with the World Tag Team Titles.
He makes his way to Kamikaze Pro looking to to take a bite out of his apple and spit in the face of anyone who doesn’t want to be cool!
2nd International Star – Blue Pants
Current NXT Star and the reigning WSU Spirit Champion which is one of the most valued Women’s titles in the US Independent scene. Most notable for her time in NXT where she has wrestled Nia Jax, Emma, Alexa Bliss, Dana Brooke, Carmella and she even challenged Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship back in June. Blue Pants has become a firm fan favourite of the NXT Crowds. She has previously also wrestled for the TNA Knockout’s Title also against Awesome Kong.
She was trained by Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley and has wrestled the likes of Paige, ODB, Sara Del Ray, Jade, Marti Belle, Jillian Hall, Candice LeRae & Saraya Knight throughout her time on the circuit. Leva is coming to Kamikaze to take on the best of the Fighting Females Division.
3rd International Star – Evolve Champion – Timothy Thatcher
The the current reigning Evolve Heavyweight Champion.
A title which he has held for over 6 months and the last ever Dragon Gate Open The Freedom Gate Champion defeating Drew Galloway for that title. Thatcher is one of the most successful wrestlers on the independent scene today.. As well as Evolve, he is a mainstay in PWG and has competed in CZW.
Nicknamed The British Messiah, Thatcher adopts and old school World Of Sport offence that sees him use a more mat based approach to wrestling. Tipped by many including WWE to be one of the next big breakout star. He comes back to the UK to put that style to good use.
4th International Star – Andrew Everett
Nicknamed The Apex Of Agility with very good reason. Everett has been blowing up over the last couple of years standing out for his athletic ability. From his shooting star presses to his 630 Senton splashes to even the very rare DOUBLE moonsault. There is very little Everett can’t do inside of a wrestling ring. A former PWG World Tag Team Champion and a regular in PWG, Evolve and Global Force Wrestling. TNA, Ring of Honor, CZW, Chikara, Dragon Gate USA. You name it, he’s been there. He recently competed at TNA’s biggest show of the year Bound For Glory competing in the Ultimate X match for the X-Division Title.
