On The Line: WCDJC’s ‘Black Lives Matter’ Mix-Show to be added to Jersey Heritage’s Collections Archive!!!

Bout Dat Music Group’s Mixtape/Show producer Bean ‘G.M. B-Eazy’ Lebouc has announced that the World Class DJ Club’s ‘Black Lives Matter’ Mix-Show is to be added to Jersey Heritage’s Collection Archives.

The mix which was produced by Eazy, on behalf of the World Class DJ Club, was broadcast on June 11th, 2020, on Radio WIGWAM as a part of Love Music Hate Racism’s ‘Speak Up Thursday’ event in which brands, companies and individuals, within the music industry, were encouraged to show there support for black culture after the tragic death of George Floyd.

The mix included tracks from Kendrick Lamar, 2Pac, Lloyd Luther, Max B, Public Enemy, N.W.A, Styles P. and more as well as Eazy discussing the impact black culture has had on his life and his unconditional appreciation for the artists, DJ’s and promoters that have shown him love over the years.

Jersey Heritage confirmed it would be included in the archives as “it would be a really nice contemporary item to add both from the perspective of the events of last year, surrounding the BLM movement, and to record an aspect of the local music and cultural scene”.

A huge congratulations to all involved as this is a massive cultural moment that has now become a part of history.
