WWE’s Jonathan Coachman has spectacularly responded to being implicated in sexual harassment claims filed against ESPN.
The Raw commentator took to Twitter to answer a question directed at him about the claims, filed yesterday by the sportscaster’s former host Adrienne Lawrence.
In a series of vehement tweets, Coachman mentioned that he was “seething”, claiming that he has “never been more offended in my life.” He further cryptically dismissed Lawrence’s claims – which suggested Coachman reneged upon a mentorship arrangement when a possible sexual relationship seemed off the cards – as “lies and flat out fabrications.” “I am not part of this lawsuit because I have never done anything wrong,” he vented, before noting “my reputation speaks for itself and anyone that has ever worked with me will back that up.”
Coachman further insinuated that the lawsuit was orchestrated in a clear attempt to grab headlines, before signing off by sympathising with anyone “falsely accused of anything” – a set of which he considers himself a part – and thanking most of his fans for their support.
Coachman’s employers WWE released a statement earlier in the day which read very clearly: “We take these matters very seriously and are investigating.”
Master P went to visit his brother in Angola Prison, he’s in good spirit. C told him that he wants to use his case and his life to help other young men not have to go through the unnecessary injustice that he’s been through. We laughed, we argued, we fussed and we fought but in the end we realized that there is nothing more important than family. We will be there when no one else will. Blood is thicker than water. You can choose your friends but not your family. Nothing is more important than love. We all we got. Free Corey Miller. God will turn this around. A man has come forward and confessed, there is also a video tape from the club that has not been used as evidence in the case but we have faith and trust in God. Thanks to all the fans for their prayers and support.
Master P claims there’s evidence proving C-Murder’s innocence. “The club have a camera [that] shows who’s the shooter, and also somebody confessed to the crime.” He also mentions his intention to meet with the warden of Angola.
C-Murder announced the hunger strike last week. He says that he and other inmates are protesting prison conditions and officials.
One of the foundational members of No Limit Records, C-Murder’s debut album Life or Death was released in 1998 and went on to sell over a million copies. In 2017, he was ordered to pay $1.15 million to the family of Steve Thomas after being found liable for his death in a civil trail.
Rapper Shawty Lo, whose real name was Carlos Walker and who was a co-founder of the hip hop group D4L, has been killed in an accident just outside Atlanta, officials say. He was 40 years old.
The accident happened at 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday when a car that Walker was traveling in left Interstate 285 in Fulton County, after which it rolled over, struck trees and burst into flames. Walker was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Two other people who were also in the vehicle were injured in the crash, but there was no immediate word on their conditions. Fulton County Police initially reported that the crash was the result of a hit-and-run, but they later clarified that only one vehicle was involved.
An investigation into Wednesday’s accident is underway.
Walker’s death was confirmed by both his manager Johnny Cabell as well as a post on Walker’s official Twitter account. “My brother has passed he is no longer here but his spirit, his kind heart, and his music will live on,” the post said. “Long live Shawty Lo King of Bankhead.”
In a statement, manager Johnny Cabell said: “I am so so so devastated that words can not describe how I feel right now. Shawty Lo was not just my artist, he was my Brother. He was My Friend. I have been Lo MGR for over 10yrs. He was Loyal and he had my back when no one else did.”
Cabell added: “I could count on him when I had no one else to turn to. We been thru so much together. If you knew Lo then you know he was genuine. He was Real he would do anything he could if he had it. I Genuinely love this man like my blood brother. I will keep his name alive and his music!”
The pair were arrested on July 7 after officers tried to stop their Volkswagen Golf on Western Road as part of an intelligence led operation.
Driver Robinson rammed the police car before locking himself in the vehicle while Wells attempted to run away. But he was quickly chased down and they were both arrested.
The two drug dealers reportedly rammed a police car and were later found to have a handgun and £4,000 of cocaine in their vehicle have been jailed.
Grime artist Aaron Robinson and accomplice Christopher Wells, both aged 28, were caught after a police chase in Winson Green .
Robinson, who used the name Flama on YouTube and rapped about using guns, had pleaded guilty to possessing the firearm and ammunition and possessing drugs with intent to supply at an earlier hearing. He was handed a five year sentence for gun possession and two years for possession of drugs to run concurrently.
Robinson, from Parker House in Kings Heath , was jailed for seven years, while Wells, from Upper Meadow Road in Quinton, received a nine and a half year sentence.
A search of the vehicle found a handgun and almost £4,000 worth of cocaine.
