Review: Tallulah Goodtimes – Interstellar Swing

Tallulah Goodtimes – Interstellar Swing is a time period minded electro swing album where vintage jazz meets modern electro swing with an energetic romp and edge. Tallulah Goodtimes experimented with recorded music and live instrumentation inside the production throughout the album. Notice how the gypsy jazz guitar riffs meld with live brass horns and the kick drums mold into the bass lines that reverb. This creates an intergalactic stellar supernova of sound.

Tallulah Goodtimes shows her audience and listeners some interstellar intergalactic universal love on Universal Love. This song was dedicated to those throughout the universe. Tallulah will be universal loving you.

If everything was from the stars and we are just some cosmic dust, then what is Tallulah’s is yours is ours. In Universal Love she trusts. Lead Tallulah to where the bright lights dazzle by the Winter Garden Lake. Join her where the jazz bands jazzle swirl her in the Shimmy Shake. She’ll endure the ice cold air. Lead her where the bright lights dazzle by the Winter Garden Lake.

Tallulah wants people to forget about their cares, worries, and troubles by engaging in some old fashion swing dancing with her to some good old interstellar jazz and electro swing music on the time period minded All I Wanna Do Is Swing. Vintage jazz meets modern electro swing with an energetic romp on All I Wanna Do Is Swing also.

Come as you are. You’re looking fine. You’re looking swell. Take Tallulah’s hand. Let’s run away tonight. We’ll adventure here and there. Forget your worries and forget your cares.

Swing her round. Swing her low. Swing her to the places that she wants to go. Tallulah want to take a chance on an old fashioned dance. All she wants to do is swing. She wants to engage in some old fashion swing dancing with her to some good old interstellar jazz and electro swing music. You could be king and she could be Queen. The finest pair you’ve ever seen. Share the secrets of the night as we go

These lyrics are simply amazing.

Lead me where the bright lights dazzle by the Winter Garden Lake
Join me where the jazz bands jazzle swirl me in the shimmy Shake
Fold me in my furs and wrappers I’ll endure the ice cold air
I’ll be universal loving you

The song Billie is vintage 1920s jazz meets 2020s electro swing. The song Billie is about the finest flapper in town that was a dancer who was living a speakeasy life.

Billie was a bearcat. Billie was the finest flapper in town. She was the finest flapper in town with a copasetic chassis. The best around as she was the best there was around.

One night she was heading to the gin palace with hooch in hand (barrel-aged Kentucky whiskey or Bourbon) and dancing shoes. Billie was a lady on a mission that had nothing to lose. She had nothing to lose. She was a bearcat and a dancer living a speakeasy life. Out on the prowl with heat dripping from her brow.

She had a style. Her dazzling smile ruled the midnight ballroom along with the feathers and sequins in her hair. And a look that made you stop and stare. The way she moved was so sweet and smooth. She owned the midnight ballroom. She ain’t got no time for no double-crossing drugstore cowboy.

Billie was a girl looking for the real McCoy who had her heart broke and up in smoke The only way was up from here. After dancing with the devil she had nothing to fear. With moves that were the cats meow. She had a style which helped her rule the midnight ballroom and dance floor. And a look that made you stop and stare.

I rate this album 5/5*****!!
