Review: Master P – Intelligent Hoodlum

Master P made a remarkable comeback with his 2019 digital album Master P – Intelligent Hoodlum after he had been out of the music game for almost a year. Master P was dabbling into using drill beats popularized by Chicago rappers and SoundCloud in his songs for this comeback album of his. This album was new and experimental for him as one can tell. Lyricism is what contemporary rap is missing in.

The album featured label mates Romeo, Krazy, and Silkk The Shocker. One thing that is noticeable about this album of his is how his album is filled entirely with artists that are signed to his own label. He does not hold a spotlight of his or have a solo song with himself alone. There is not a song on this album that does not feature a guest artist.

I rate this album 4/5****!
