Sweely – Danc’n In The Garage is one of older sounding garage house releases despite being released in 2022. The single is quite vintage sounding for a single realized in the year of 2022. Garage house meets progressive house on this Sweely release. French producer Sweely went a different route by deciding to dabble into garage house and progressive house instead of his usual tech house and minimalism.
Sweely produced a quality progressive house track called Recenter Yourself for Danc’n In The Garage. This is Sweely at his best punching hard like always. His beats are hard punching like always. That bassline, pads, and chords are what make the songs intense, freaky, and sexy. Recenter Yourself is reminiscent of the progressive house from the early to mid 1990s. That is why Recenter Yourself will remind you of the progressive house from the early to mid 1990s. Garage house meets progressive house and modern trance on Recenter Yourself.
The song Recenter Yourself will remind you of an intense level in a video game where you defeat a final boss at the very end of the final stage. Like on Sonic or Megaman.
Don’t Push It Too Far is another one of the standout tracks and highlights for this single and Sweely release. That bassline, pads, and chords are what make the song intense, freaky, and sexy on Don’t Push It Too Far. That bassline is super thick also. That RX7 is so clean. Sweely has a good ear for creating and sampling alien sounds.
If you listen closely, Sweely makes several references about an automobile called a limousine. He mentions the limo. Now the limo is a common theme for Sweely which is mentioned on several songs of his such as Shut Up And Stay Home and Danc’n In The Garage.
At the beginning of the song, you can hear vocals from a female who says, “As you listen, don’t push it too far. But each week you will do a little more. And achieving wonderful results.” This repeated various times throughout the song. Around the very of the song is where you’ll hear the phrase, “Let’s ride the limo.”
Chatboulette is one of the darker Sweely songs which has a garage house vibe and soundscape. Quite postmodern if you ask me. Some chiptune and EBM are used.
The groove king brought an abundance of freaky grooves on the song and release’s title track Danc’n In The Garage. This is an amazing banger. Danc’n In The Garage is one of Sweely’s better known garage house songs his fans are familiar with. Garage house meets dance and progressive house on Danc’n In The Garage due to the upbeat tempo and pace.
I rate this single 5/5*****!
