Review: FONZi NeuTRON – LEVELS

LEVELS is one of Fonzi Neutron’s most recent and newest EPs. This is Fonzi’s newest concoction he has been cooking up for the past year. The EP brings a breath of fresh air to trap music with production from high quality modern technology as he came back with another slice of action on a whole another level with his lyrics. This Hard Hitter Production release is prime for 2021 and features 10 scorching joints with Bout Dat’s signature cosmic flavour. Highlights include Twerk Dat, LEVELS, Juiced Up, and Not This Time.

Twerk Dat is the club inspired rap song perfect for the clubs and radio stations. This is one of them twerking songs. All you bad girls can find Fonzi outside. The song uses elements from bounce music, trap music, and dance. Now the fast paced uptempo beats represent the bounce music portion of the song while the distortion serves as the trap music portion of the song.

Now some of you may remember back in 2020 DJ MISTA SMOOVE was mixing up this hot new exclusive on his ‘Street Jams’ radio show Radio 2 Funky. The song was constantly played on the Radio 2 Funky radio show. That is why you can hear DJ MISTA SMOOVE all over the radio mix of Twerk Dat. That is also why you can hear DJ MISTA SMOOVE give shouts all over the song. Some of you might remember that Twerk Dat was also featured on the Social Distancing LP back in 2020.

Fonzi begins rapping in the flow and cadence the way Eminem did on his 2002 hit song Without Me at the 0:43 mark in the song. Pay attention closely and you’ll hear Fonzi rapping in the flow and cadence the way Eminem did on his 2002 hit song Without Me as he repeats some of the lyrics such as “Find me outside” for example.

[Fonzi]
All them bad girls come find me outside
Find me outside
Find me outside

These lyrics represent the bounce music portion of Twerk Dat. Notice how the lyrics are spaced out as there are shortened pauses in between.

Clap

Twerk

Juiced Up is one of the hottest trap music songs from the United Kingdom which is pure fire. The song uses some high quality heavy bass over soft posh beats. Fonzi comes sick with his flow and creativity which gives Juiced Up some great vibes. You can tell the song was put together perfectly.

Fonzi comes sick with his flow and creativity. For example, he made the lyrics to the chorus catchy. Read the lyrics below to get a better understanding.

They juiced up
They talking gas
We come thru
Let the body blasts
It’s Bout Dat
No stopping us
You know that we’ll come in last

Fonzi broke out his rap retirement to do something special by making a cover and remix Steady Mobb’n – Call It What You Want. The remix of LEVELS was produced by Mbanga. The song LEVELS was taken from the original soundtrack Trap Mob The Movie.

LEVELS is a nod and ode to the Bay Area Mobb rap classic Steady Mobb’n – Call It What You Want. This is a remix of Steady Mobb’n – Call It What You Want as the elements of Bay Area Mobb, Southern rap, trap music, and West Coast rap are used. The cover doesn’t just solely rely on that Bay Area Mobb sound and West Coast rap as the original version did. The thick beats and heavy bass represent the Bay Area Mobb sound and West Coast rap. He was inspired by the Bay Area Mobb sound when covering the song. You’ll love that old school vibe which comes from this song.

The vibration and bass are what stand out the most about this song. The vibration brings out a vibe on all levels as the vibration and bass rumble your speakers. This song is fire! One thing’s for sure is that this song will still guaranteed to ganstafy your mind.
