Review: Santee – #itsallaboutme

The Santee – #itsallaboutme album celebrates his 25 years of being the rap game and music business. On this album, San Antonio OG Santee celebrates and brags about how long he has been into the music game overall. He showcases and represents his status as an OG. His PRC Recordings label has been in existence for 25 years as well. The album was released as a digital download (digital album) online on sites such as audiomack, Spotify, and Amazon in February 3, 2018.

The title track #itsallaboutme album celebrates his 25 years of being the rap game and music business. San Antonio OG Santee celebrates and brags about how long he has been into the music game overall. The title track is self-explanatory as its all about him.

C Me is a loud percussion driven rap song featuring Big C. The percussion really stands out due to its excessive loudness and hi-hats used. Clavs are used also.

Hustle Hard is about getting that money whether you’re earning an income or not. Santee lets us know that he and PRC hustle hard. They hustle real hard. Drill beats are used for percussion on Hustle Hard. The song is electronically processed.

Back Up has the same feel and theme as the song Let Santee Be The One from his 1997 album Out The Pen To Win. His aggressive flow gives off such a harsh vibe in such manner. The style is filled with harsh brash bravado and such.

Santee gets on the political tip buy getting politically conscious on the song Political Madness. Santee questions the leadership of Donald Trump. The world is in a crisis. Time is short in the land of the lost. Santee sides with Hillary Clinton as running for president. At less than 1 minute into the song and it has already turned into a pro-Hillary song. Also Santee sheds lights by shorty mentioning the bombing in Yemen. Santee seeks change for many issues throughout the song.

I rate this album 5/5*!
