Review: Legend Lady J ‎– 2 Hot 2 Handle

Legend Lady J ‎– 2 Hot 2 Handle is one Memphis rap album that is too hard to handle for anyone. The album has that deep dark Memphis sound raps fans truly desire and yearn for. Songs such as Hollar, Hollar, Its The 90s, and 2 Hot 2 Handle showcase her skilled and creative lyrics. You have your club music songs such as This The Bump, Click, Click, Bang, Bang, and Jealous Ass Hoes which slightly unusual for a Memphis rap album.

Click, Click, Bang, Bang with King JC and Lil Jay is your typical No Limit style New Orleans rap song with a dark Memphis rap twist added with dark synths, thick beats, and heavy bass. The typical Memphis style. The lyrics are not as creative though.

2 Hot 2 Handle is one Memphis rap song that is too hard to handle for anyone. The song has that deep dark Memphis sound raps fans truly desire and yearn for. This song displays her more sensual side and sexual side. Alizé is often mentioned throughout the song. The Legend Lady J would seductively croon about drinking Alizé with brandy before a sexual encounter. She’s badass, very skilled, and creative. She proves to us that she is too hot to hand on 2 Hot 2 Handle.

Who Can You Trust? is a dark gangsta rap with that dark Memphis rap flavor. Of course the song is not as dubious as Where You At or Throw Your Hands Up. Lady J switches up her style on Hollar, Hollar. She transitions from using the typical Memphis style to the New Orleans style. Notice how the thick Southern twang is present in her vocals.

I rate this album 2/5**.
