DJ Fela – Crunk For Tha Next Generation is a Memphis dance rap album that never was. The album was finished and completed but was never released. Only a few copies of that album were issued onto CD. There were posters printed and handed out to promote his album. Today the album is considered mega rare and impossible to find.

The album was finished before DJ Fela died. However DJ Fela died before he could release the album. The reason why DJ Fela – Crunk For Tha Next Generation is and remains unreleased is because DJ Fela had a falling out with his team (DSP). Only his friends, his family members, and the production team have copies of this album. None of which will be given away.

Jesse James really did serious damage and went mad on this junt called Come On An Shout It. He was really bringing that heat. Come On An Shout It has those crunk drill beats.
Lets Get Wild uses some dark crunk beats which follow an upbeat tempo to rambunctious club sound and vibe. DJ Fela is an M-Town legend and a pioneer of crunk beats. Jesse James really did serious damage and went mad on this junt.
On Lock was Track 4 from the 1998 promotional CD “DJ Fela – Crunk For Tha Next Generation”. The beat for the On Lock song was reused in several Memphis rap album over the years. For example, the beat for the On Lock song was also used for Yo Lynch’s solo tape.
I rate this album 4/5****!
