The self-titled Ghetto Commission album was one of the rawest No Limit rap albums of 2000. The album had everything from hardcore gangsta rap to bounce music. But the album mostly dabbled into hardcore gangsta rap with a heavy lyrical touch.

Some of you No Limit fans may remember that the self-titled Ghetto Commission album was advertised Magic – Thuggin’ with a release date of March 7, 2000. The self-titled Ghetto Commission album was supposed to be Ghetto Commission’s second album that was supposed to be released on March 7, 2000 on No Limit Records. However their second album was never released and remains unreleased because Master P felt the album was too gutter for the mainstream music market and would not sell very well. Master P was trying to bring a new sound to the label.

C-Los was a bit more involved with the production side of this album because Beats By The Pound had already left No Limit. So C-Los stepped up to the plate and produced tracks for Ghetto Commission during this time. C-Los also had a business relationship tied up with Master P during this time also.
I rate this album 3/5***.
