Pro Wrestling icon Sting made his debut on last night’s ‘AEW Dynamite’ after a tag team match between Cody Rhodes and Dary Allin against Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs!!!
Before Hobbs could hit Rhodes, with the FTW title, the lights went out and then ‘The Icon’ made his way to the ring!!!
What also makes this appearance so significant isn’t just AEW’s signing of one of the industries biggest, and most legendary, names it also marked Sting’s first appearance on TNT since him and Ric Flair closed off the final episode of ‘WCW Monday Nitro’ on March 26th 2001!!!
After his disappointing run in WWE, from 2014-2015, we all know that AEW will do the Stinger justice unlike WWE who just used him as another WCW legend for Triple H to beat.
