C-Murder, the brother of Master P, took to Instagram on Monday to thank Kim Kardashian for her efforts to reverse his 2009 life sentence in his conviction over the 2002 murder of a 16-year-old at a New Orleans club.
Kardashian, 39 – a force in the world of criminal justice reform – has focused her efforts toward the case of C-Murder amid questions regarding evidence, testimony and jury conduct in his trial for the 2002 killing of Steve Thomas.
On Monday, C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, took to Instagram to detail his collaboration with the reality star and singer Monica, which he says commenced earlier this year.
The Colonel of The Tank thanks Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Monica who have recently been vocal about the injustice of Corey “C-Murder” Miller’s case.
There’s been newfound hope in the fight for C-Murder’s release from prison as Kim Kardashian, Monica, and other celebrities have voiced their intentions to get the rapper released. C-Murder’s brother Master P expressed joy that many are offering their support but warned supporters of the tough fight ahead.
In a video message, gives his gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Monica while alerting them that Louisiana isn’t an easy state to deal with due to corruption.
“My whole thing is getting my brother home. Whatever anybody do that’s gonna spark that plug, I appreciate it,” said the No Limit Records founder. “But, like I said, Louisiana is not the same like all the rest of these places.”
“I hope it’s all for the right reasons with all these people,” Master P continued. “Louisiana is serious. We done spent millions of dollars throughout all these years and, you know, this place has a lot of corruption. Hopefully, Kim K and her celebrity status — but, this is not going to be easy.”
C-Murder, real name Corey Miller, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison for the 2002 beating and fatal shooting of Steve Thomas.

Quantum Thought aka Ricky Lee Candy is a 39-year- old rapper from Sacramento, CA, who has been writing rap since the age of 12. Before becoming a full-time rapper Quantum has faced a troubled past where he got involved with drugs, gang activity and also served a 5-year sentence after he was charged as an adult for a crime at the age of 16.
Even in prison he spent most of his time writing songs and working on self by reading books and attending poetry class on the weekends. Quantum Thought believes it was this Poetry recital class that helped him to deal the harsh reality of in prison.

How did your artist name come about?
My name comes from my love of Quantum Physics. Im a deep thinker so I coined the name Quantum Thought .
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been since age 12
How would you describe the sound around your music, the background/inspirations behind it?
My style of music is called Scarred Poetry. its about love ,pain ,strength, and spiritual growth . The larger part of my music speaks of self love and development. I created Scarred Poetry in 1999 when is was 18 yrs old but I’ve just started to brand it and bring to the people.
How do you spend your time outside of the business?
I mostly work on my craft I have very time for anything else . I believe in Scarred Poetry so much that I spend all day and most nights writing recording and registering all my music myself … so yeah im a busy man …lol
What are your current thoughts of the music business in 2020?
I think its the best time as a independent artist to take control of your destiny in the music industry. With it being so easy to find distributors and own my own Publishing .
What have you got planned for the near future?
Well im a bit of an entrepreneur so I want make a living on my music. So I want make a dope catalogue of works and get into the syncing business (getting my music into movies and TV).
What inspires you when you make your music?
I’m inspired by a lot of people and other subjects like Quantum Physics … thats my main theme but I also make reality rap and lots of love songs ….
What music are you bumping at the moment?
Not to be cocky or anything like that but I mostly only listen to my own music . Only because I don’t want to be influenced by the music out there now . But I listen to all the greats like 2 pac , Nas , biggie . But I like rappers like Wale and Fabulous.
Who’s in your Top 5 greatest artist of all time?
Whoo thats a hard one but I judge artist by the impact they have on generations so of course 2pac , Lil Wayne , Nas , Eminem, and Jay Z .
