Tape Deck King’s #ThursdayNightThrowback #2 featuring Eric B. & Rakim, Main Source and The L.O.X

This is DJ Tape Deck King taking over U.E.M’s blog on Bout Dat Online for some more throwback classics from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s! So click play and reminisce on these oldies but goodies!

Eric-B-and-Rakim

First selection is the God MC himself, Rakim, and one of the 80’s illest producers, Eric B., absolutely killing it with the 1987, stone cold, classic ‘I Know You Got Soul’! If you don’t feel this then you have serious issues (and probably no soul too)!

Second comes from Main Source with the dope 1991 classic ‘Looking At The Front Door’ which is about a guy just being real and his girl acting as if she too good for that! I’d personally kick her out and change the locks myself but hey!

And last it’s Jadakiss, Styles P. & Sheek, otherwise known as the LOX (or L.O.X), with their Swizz Beatz produced, Ruff Ryders debut, ‘Wild Out’ from 2000! As Westwood would say back in the day THIS IS REAL HEAT FOR THE STREET! A true certified banger from the era of certified bangers!

Until next time people enjoy my selection and I’ll be back with some more throwback material next week! PEACE!!!
