Aaron ‘Flama’ Robinson and accomplice Christopher Wells were arrested after ramming police car in Winson Green

The pair were arrested on July 7 after officers tried to stop their Volkswagen Golf on Western Road as part of an intelligence led operation.

Driver Robinson rammed the police car before locking himself in the vehicle while Wells attempted to run away. But he was quickly chased down and they were both arrested.

 

The two drug dealers reportedly rammed a police car and were later found to have a handgun and £4,000 of cocaine in their vehicle have been jailed.

Grime artist Aaron Robinson and accomplice Christopher Wells, both aged 28, were caught after a police chase in Winson Green .

Robinson, who used the name Flama on YouTube and rapped about using guns, had pleaded guilty to possessing the firearm and ammunition and possessing drugs with intent to supply at an earlier hearing. He was handed a five year sentence for gun possession and two years for possession of drugs to run concurrently.

Robinson, from Parker House in Kings Heath , was jailed for seven years, while Wells, from Upper Meadow Road in Quinton, received a nine and a half year sentence.

A search of the vehicle found a handgun and almost £4,000 worth of cocaine.
