Everlasting TV! (Spotlight) Interview with Natashia Brewer

Everlasting TV Officially Announces New Channel

Launch on Roku

We recently caught up with Everlasting TV’sNatashia Brewer‘ to find out more about this rising platform. Find out more bout dat below!

Hi thanks for taking the time to connect with us, where do you hail from?

I am originally from Washington, DC but now I live in Maryland which is about at 30 minutes’ drive to DC. Thank you for the opportunity to share my new channel, Everlasting TV with your readers

How did the name Everlasting TV come about?

The definition for everlasting is lasting forever or a very long time. I also feel that we as creatives have a responsibility to make sure what we put out adds value and helps. It should not hinder or stunt our generations advancement ant the advancement of future generations. I chose the name Everlasting TV because we are going to make a positive impact in the entertainment industry and the world forever. We are everlasting!

How long have you been in entertainment?

I have been writing songs as I can remember. I used songwriting as my escape when I didn’t feel as though I had a voice. Then about 15 years ago, I really started to learn more about the business and write more. In 2016, I released my first compilation EP where I wrote all the songs – titled The Infinite Love Project. Then three years ago, I wrote my first book – Love Song. Wrote my first feature film this year. So as you can see, I’ve been creating for a long time and I love it.

How would you describe the mission/purpose of Everlasting TV?

We are a Christian-based channel (about developing relationship, not religious) driven by a mission to inspire viewers by making great film, television, and musical works available. Content that is innovative, creative, fun, and entertaining geared for today’s generation and generations to come. We intend to share great content that will shatter societal stereotypes which will allow next level enlightenment, thinking, dreaming, and focus. Our vision is to be an exceptional entertainment source that creates unforgettable moments which produces long lasting effects in the lives of individuals, families, and communities around the world.

How do you spend your time outside of the business?

I spend my free time with my family and close friends. If I am not doing that, I am doing self-care activities like exercising or having a spa day.

What are your current thoughts of the entertainment industry?

I think there is work that needs to be done. There is a narrative being pushed and I am going to change that narrative on what entertainment is. So many shows, artist, creators get recognition for the vulgar messages filled with sex, drugs, and violence, when shows/content with an inspiring, motivating message and greater enlightenment get buried. We are going to change that. Positivity and inspiration will prevail, and we at Everlasting TV will do everything in our power/control to make that happen. Also, all submissions are reviewed which means some content is denied from being on the channel. We have our mission, vision, and values and every submission must be in alignment. This means, there is no pay to get your content seen format with our channel. If it does not align, it will not be in the channel lineup.

What have you got planned for the near future?

The near future is booked with growing Everlasting TV. Everlasting TV is currently on Roku, but we have a solid roadmap to expand to other streaming platforms. We are currently in phase one of our launch and looking to move into phase two at the end of the year. And of course, we are always looking for new content. So if your audience are content creators with inspirational messaging, then we want to hear from them

How do people contact you if they want to showcase their work on Everlasting TV?

The first step is to send an email to, requesting information and they will receive details about their content on the channel. If they want more details, then they will receive a link to set up an appointment for a 1:1 conference call.

What type of content and shows are you looking for to be on Everlasting TV?

We are looking for all genres. We have a bit of everything and so much more to come. Movie shorts, documentaries, feature films, music videos, music, DIY shows (cooking, repairs, etc.), talk shows, podcasts, etc.

What are the five objectives of your channel?

The five objectives of the channel are: shift the narrative of what entertainment is; empower content creators, flood the world with more inspiring, motivating, and positive messages; build a community; produce exclusive content (movies and TV show). The first Everlasting TV exclusive movie and TV show to be produced are Violet Bloom and Renew Your Mind with Natashia Brewer!

Christian hip-hop artist G.E.N.E in collaborates with Face Da Zoe on this summertime hit single “I Press”. This song was created to celebrate the journey we as Christians are on. So often we focus on the destination of where we are going, and forget to be grateful and thankful to God for what he has already done; and where he has brought us from.⠀ ⠀ Philippians 3:14 said, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Understanding that we are not a perfect people but a progressing people. This song highlights that, and encourages audiences to celebrate the season they are in right now. Acknowledging that I’m not the person I’m going to be, but I’m certainly not the man I used to be.⠀ ⠀ “I Press” is now available for stream & download:⠀ ⠀ Social Media Instagram: ⠀ @gene_ctk ⠀ @ctkaffiliates ⠀ @facedazoe⠀ ⠀ Hashtags: #IPress #CTKAffiliates #CTKNetwork⠀ ⠀ Credits:⠀ written by: Melvin Cotton III & Scott Labbe⠀ music production by: Preppy Beats, Dola IQ & Mello Finney⠀ mixing/engineer: Tommie JR⠀ music video producers: Melvin Cotton III & Scott Labbe⠀ graphics by: Melissa Cotton⠀ videographer: Karldez Powell⠀ production company: CTK & Affiliates

Brewer herself is an accomplished songwriter and author that understands the challenges that come with finding the right space to showcase her work. “I’ve always looked for the perfect avenue to get my message out. So I can relate to the struggle creatives have when they don’t have a platform just for them,” she says.

In addition, business owners who want more exposure through sponsorships and advertising, are invited to join the movement at Everlasting TV.

Why Roku? Streaming TV is gaining traction now, and Roku has more than 40 million active subscribers. Everlasting TV aims to convert those subscribers into loyal fans. Brewer says Roku is just the beginning for Everlasting TV. “We call it ‘Everlasting’ because we expect to continually expand, and we envision longevity. Nick Cannon fired by ViacomCBS; apologises to Jewish Community! for ‘hurtful’ comments!

Nick Cannon has apologized for his anti-semitic remarks during an interview with Richard Griffin.

Nick Cannon apologizes for anti-Semitic remarks after firing!

The TV host and producer said he is “ashamed” of the “hurtful and divisive” comments made on his podcast.

VIACOM CBS released the following statement on Tuesday.

“ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism,”

“While we support ongoing education and dialogue in the fight against bigotry, we are deeply troubled that Nick has failed to acknowledge or apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism, and we are terminating our relationship with him.” {{pause}}

Nick Cannon was interviewing a former member of the rap group Public Enemy, Richard Griffin aka Professor Griff, who who left the group in 1989.

During their discussion, Griffin claimed that he was talking about Jews controlling the media, saying: “I’m hated now because I told the truth.”

Cannon, who called Griffin a “legend,” said: “You’re speaking facts. There’s no reason to be scared of anything when you’re speaking the truth.”

He also said the “Semitic people are black people”, and that: “You can’t be anti-Semitic when we are the Semitic people.”

After the podcast surfaced, Cannon was dropped by ViacomCBS, which owns MTV.

Although Cannon said he did not “condone hate speech nor the spread of hateful rhetoric”, he also criticised ViacomCBS, saying the company was “on the wrong side of history”, and insisting that he had been “attempting to highlight” the problem of “systemic racism” in his podcast.

He added that he had reached out to ViacomCBS chair Shari Redstone to apologise, although a company spokesperson said this was “absolutely untrue.”

Nick has since taken to his social media to post a further apology…

“First and foremost I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin,”

“They reinforced the worst stereotypes of a proud and magnificent people and I feel ashamed of the uninformed and naïve place that these words came from. The video of this interview has since been removed.”

While the Jewish experience encompasses more than 5,000 years and there is so much I have yet to learn, I have had at least a minor history lesson over the past few days and to say that it is eye-opening would be a vast understatement. I want to express my gratitude to the Rabbis, community leaders and institutions who reached out to me to help enlighten me, instead of chastising me.

“I want to assure my Jewish friends, new and old, that this is only the beginning of my education—I am committed to deeper connections, more profound learning and strengthening the bond between our two cultures today and every day going forward,” he continued on Twitter.

Nick Cannon will continue to host the US version of the hit TV show The Masked Singer
