We recently caught up with Everlasting TV’sNatashia Brewer‘ to find out more about this rising platform. Find out more bout dat below!

Hi thanks for taking the time to connect with us, where do you hail from?

I am originally from Washington, DC but now I live in Maryland which is about at 30 minutes’ drive to DC. Thank you for the opportunity to share my new channel, Everlasting TV with your readers

How did the name Everlasting TV come about?

The definition for everlasting is lasting forever or a very long time. I also feel that we as creatives have a responsibility to make sure what we put out adds value and helps. It should not hinder or stunt our generations advancement ant the advancement of future generations. I chose the name Everlasting TV because we are going to make a positive impact in the entertainment industry and the world forever. We are everlasting!

How long have you been in entertainment?

I have been writing songs as I can remember. I used songwriting as my escape when I didn’t feel as though I had a voice. Then about 15 years ago, I really started to learn more about the business and write more. In 2016, I released my first compilation EP where I wrote all the songs – titled The Infinite Love Project. Then three years ago, I wrote my first book – Love Song. Wrote my first feature film this year. So as you can see, I’ve been creating for a long time and I love it.

How would you describe the mission/purpose of Everlasting TV?

We are a Christian-based channel (about developing relationship, not religious) driven by a mission to inspire viewers by making great film, television, and musical works available. Content that is innovative, creative, fun, and entertaining geared for today’s generation and generations to come. We intend to share great content that will shatter societal stereotypes which will allow next level enlightenment, thinking, dreaming, and focus. Our vision is to be an exceptional entertainment source that creates unforgettable moments which produces long lasting effects in the lives of individuals, families, and communities around the world.

How do you spend your time outside of the business?

I spend my free time with my family and close friends. If I am not doing that, I am doing self-care activities like exercising or having a spa day.

What are your current thoughts of the entertainment industry?

I think there is work that needs to be done. There is a narrative being pushed and I am going to change that narrative on what entertainment is. So many shows, artist, creators get recognition for the vulgar messages filled with sex, drugs, and violence, when shows/content with an inspiring, motivating message and greater enlightenment get buried. We are going to change that. Positivity and inspiration will prevail, and we at Everlasting TV will do everything in our power/control to make that happen. Also, all submissions are reviewed which means some content is denied from being on the channel. We have our mission, vision, and values and every submission must be in alignment. This means, there is no pay to get your content seen format with our channel. If it does not align, it will not be in the channel lineup.

What have you got planned for the near future?

The near future is booked with growing Everlasting TV. Everlasting TV is currently on Roku, but we have a solid roadmap to expand to other streaming platforms. We are currently in phase one of our launch and looking to move into phase two at the end of the year. And of course, we are always looking for new content. So if your audience are content creators with inspirational messaging, then we want to hear from them

How do people contact you if they want to showcase their work on Everlasting TV?

The first step is to send an email to info@everlastingtv.com, requesting information and they will receive details about their content on the channel. If they want more details, then they will receive a link to set up an appointment for a 1:1 conference call.

What type of content and shows are you looking for to be on Everlasting TV?

We are looking for all genres. We have a bit of everything and so much more to come. Movie shorts, documentaries, feature films, music videos, music, DIY shows (cooking, repairs, etc.), talk shows, podcasts, etc.

What are the five objectives of your channel?

The five objectives of the channel are: shift the narrative of what entertainment is; empower content creators, flood the world with more inspiring, motivating, and positive messages; build a community; produce exclusive content (movies and TV show). The first Everlasting TV exclusive movie and TV show to be produced are Violet Bloom and Renew Your Mind with Natashia Brewer!

Christian hip-hop artist G.E.N.E in collaborates with Face Da Zoe on this summertime hit single “I Press”. This song was created to celebrate the journey we as Christians are on. So often we focus on the destination of where we are going, and forget to be grateful and thankful to God for what he has already done; and where he has brought us from.⠀ ⠀ Philippians 3:14 said, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Understanding that we are not a perfect people but a progressing people. This song highlights that, and encourages audiences to celebrate the season they are in right now.
