Promoter Matt Jarrett is well proven for bringing top quality professional wrestling stars and action to the United Kingdom, and this World Pro Wrestling (WPW) show was no exception to the rule.
With appearances from former WWE stars such as Davey Boy Smith Jr, and Too Cold Scorpio, and international talent such as Kendo Kashin, Kenzo Richards, former Impact Wrestling star Hernandez, and upcoming American independent talent like Sugar D; there were plenty of exciting reasons to attend.
Just to make the evening even more special, the first ever UK appearance of the Von Erich’s (Ross and Marshall) and their defending of their internationally won World Tag Team Titles, was another major attraction for the fans; and they certainly did not disappoint.
Also, as is a staple of shows promoted by Matt Jarrett, the audience would be treated to some of the best British wrestling talent in the country, such as Danny Boy Collins, Kris Kay, Phil Powers, and Frankie Sloan; amongst others.
And in what made it an unforgettable evening in Cheltenham, in front of a sold out crowd, Too Cold Scorpio defeated Kendo Kashin, to become the first ever World Pro Wrestling (WPW) Champion; a title belt and honor presented to him by the Mayor of Cheltenham herself.
TOO COLD SCORPIO NEW WPW CHAMPION
There is a lot of buzz about the next scheduled show, and that will be in November at Cheltenham Town Hall (which is a wonderful venue for these events, and gives the proceedings a level of class that many professional wrestling shows and events do not have).
We advise you to keep up with Superclash UK / World Pro Wrestling on social media, for all the latest news and happenings regarding this; and strongly recommend you attending any upcoming shows with next supershow already announced for November!
