A gangster linked to Birmingham’s notorious Johnson Crew has been jailed for 14 years for shooting at rivals outside a city nightclub (see footage of the moment the shot was fired, above).

Fabian Williams fired a single shot from a revolver minutes after leaving the Beorma venue in Fleet Street early on March 13 this year.

“Williams has been handed a very long jail term for his action.

“It shows how seriously the police and courts take gun crime and sends a message that anyone using a firearm on our streets faces being locked up for many years.”

Charges against a 24-year-old man were dropped at court.
